Watershed to river basin-scale model of Dindori watershed of upper Narmada region

Digital elevation model based watershed delineation to define watershed area and flow direction. Land cover and properties, were considered as hydrologic response unit, to keep spatial resolution intact for mass balance. Outputs of runoff were predicted based on the calibrated model for a temporal scale of 10 years.

Rainfall to Streamflow model of Narmada River using Artificial Neural Network

Black Box model prepared using ANN models.

Rainfall data as input for the data-driven model was taken and feed-forward neural network was fit. Streamflow was predicted for the given rainfall for the Narmada River.

Stream water quality modeling of Narmada region

Steady-state flow model of river stretch was developed. Water quality parameters were incorporated to, find the river water quality along the river stretch. Presence of aquatic animal based upon the water quality along stretch were predicted.

Detection of archaeological crop marks by using satellite Quick-Bird multispectral Imagery

High-resolution satellite imagery was handled for different spectral bands. Archaeological marks related to crop marks were detected with image processing software. Applications of Remote Sensing and GIS were accessed.
