International Soil Moisture School
Soil moisture is very important parameters influencing the drought, flood, ecology, hydrology, climate at regional scale and many more. It is usually modelled and values are used as it is. A lot of uncertainty and misrepresentation is generated in climate risks, hydrology and other fields due to this. Which calls for in situ measurements and application of remote sensing to derive soil moisture. The International soil moisture school intended to bridge this gap by providing talks from professors working all over the world and arranging in situ soil moisture measurement hands on session, was really insightful and helpful. Concepts of remote sensing, downscaling, and retrieval of data was explored. Conceptualization of the physical significance of the remotely sensed data in terms of parameters for the soil moisture equation.

Teaching Assistant Skill Enhancement & Training (TASET)
Attended workshop held by Parimal and Pramod Chaudhari Centre for Learning and Teaching (PPCCLT), IIT Bombay. This was one of a kind of training where a Master TA was allocated in each department of IIT Bombay to help and upskill the new teaching assistants (TAs). I was representing as Master TA from my ESED department, IIT Bombay. It was exciting and new as the training and material generation was a collaborative effort from PPCLT and master TAs. The content for the guidance, responsibilities and preparation of labs and instrument as a TA was created by me. Lecture on how to become a efficient TA and manage the students of various class was delivered by me to the students of ESED, IIT Bombay.
